"We assembled my Riga IV greenhouse this fall so that I can start my vegetables much earlier in the spring. The result is not only practical but beautiful. I bought this style because I live at a high elevation where we get a lot of snow in the long winter. The ceiling windows opened and closed automatically from the start. Exaco provided outstanding support, from my many phone calls to the great coordination of the delivery truck. Their DVD provided very helpful insights into the assembly. I also appreciate many of the details provided by the German engineering of the design. I'm thrilled with my final greenhouse and would recommend it to any of my friends."

"We use our “greenhouse” as a sunroom. We have two patio heaters in it for colder nights. It is one of those purchases that we would make one hundred times over! We looked at adding a sunroom over an existing patio before we discovered our sunroom. We cannot be happier AND saved 50K….."
"I’ve been so pleased with my Royal Victorian greenhouse. I can now put big pots of agave inside for the winter, instead of buying new ones. We started seeds inside for plants that butterfly caterpillars eat, and we now get so many butterflies! It’s been a wonderful addition to our home and garden. It’s attractive to look at as well. In addition, the service from Exaco has been excellent. Whenever we needed anything, they rushed it to us right away. They’ve been both helpful and friendly. I’m very happy with my purchase!"
" Excellent greenhouse. Professional quality. I purchased the vi23 two years ago and could not be more pleased. I have a very small yard would buy the biggest possible otherwise. I am a retired Horticulturist and have owned the double wall polycarbonate and aluminum in past. This product adds beauty and function with lasting quality to your home landscape. The staff were unbelievably helpful and prompt in service. The packaging of the greenhouse was top notch with no problems and the set up was quite basic as well, with the help of my carpenter.
Before the greenhouse arrived I received a phone call From Andrew Cook to make sure I had all the information I needed and he gave me tips and explanations to help assembly. I have a greenhouse that will last for many years. I live in Memphis Tennessee our zone is a 7b. I have added two small "dairy" type electric heaters , Lights and fan. I added the accessories kit when I purchased. The shade cloth is invaluable here in the mid-south."
"I have owned this for almost 5 years and love it. I live at 8,200 feet so growing is always a challenge. With this greenhouse I can grow anything including hot peppers. The self opening windows work perfectly and really help regulate temperature. It is well built and I have had zero problem. Punch line is that I love it!"
"My wife and I both love this addition to our property. She spends time in it daily. We have it packed with plants. The kits are manufactured for ease of construction and strength of structure."
"My wife and I wanted to learn to grow vegetables as part of a healthy and active lifestyle. We purchased a Riga greenhouse, assembled it ourselves and raised it on the south side of our home. With no former experience, we started to grow a variety of greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, beets, broccoli, herbs and flowers. Now in our third year, we grow year round in the greenhouse. It is very well constructed and with a small blower heater, we can maintain growing temperatures in winter in North Carolina. It is wonderful to go out to the greenhouse every morning and clip a bucket of fresh green for an amazing breakfast! It has literally been life changing."

"A Nice Functional and Sturdy Greenhouse. It is now a year + later and I am still very pleased with this structure. It is very functional much more energy efficient than my previous one and has even survived a hurricane. Definately not a single man job and probably would have been much easier with three persons but two ole guys were quite successful."

"This is a major piece of fine equipment. I spent a lot of time reading and researching various greenhouses and this one seemed to have a number of details well thought out. It is so well made that if you pay attention to the directions it goes together perfectly. We have installed it on a concrete driveway and it stayed pretty warm through a cold Utah winter with 2 minor little heaters. We live in an extremely windy place and the special safety wires for the vents have held up well. We even installed an extra one for the open door. The space is great and we even built a feral cat shelter into the back left corner!"

"Rocky Mountain garden. After wrestling with the city for permits, I finally was able to build my greenhouse in about 3 days. The directions were a bit lacking, but I work construction and was able to figure it out. It seems to have survived well thru its first snow storm.I have some leftover parts and not sure what they go to.

"My husband and I really love this greenhouse. We were looking for something that would fit in our small backyard yet give us enough space to grow seed starters. This greenhouse is very well made and we use just a small milk house heater thru the winter and it stays quite warm in there.
We have had this for about 4 years and it has exceeded our expectations. We have quite hot summers where we live and the only parts that need replaced since we bought it is the extended arm for the gable end window to hold the window open and a couple of the flat panels that the seed trays sit on. We also love the automatic vent openers on the 2 windows, it saves a lot of running back and forth to open and close according to the weather, and the large black seed trays that came with it hold a lot of plants/seeds in a small area. Overall we are very happy with our purchase."

"Beautiful to look at easy to use. We have been using it for 10 months and love it. I chose the Riga because it seemed to hold up well in the snow for other users and I have not been disappointed. The shape of the greenhouse allows rain and snow to fall off easily and it still looks beautiful in the garden. I did underestimate the need for shade in the summer and we have none where we set it up so I will share what worked well for us.
You will see lots of pics from people using shade cloth on the outside, wouldn't that be nice! We live in a high wind area and that was not an option for us. I ended up getting aluminet (80% for the south side and 50% for the north side) shade cloth and hung it inside using the extra bolts that came with the greenhouse, don't throw those away. We just hung the cloth up and used washers with the bolts to hold it snug to the aluminum supports and cut flaps for the top window vents. Sometimes I would spray it down with water and that really dropped the temp. For the future though I planted some trees around it, the cloth is a bit of a hassle. I was surprised how easy it was to install the ventilation fan and louvers, I thought the sheets would be hard to cut but they really were not, we just used a jigsaw with a fine blade. I think it took us 2 days to set up the greenhouse itself with 3 people and we did the ventilation on another day. You really do need 3 people.
Some of it is not intuitive but the video provided by Exaco was really great and they were there to help us with any other questions. For the floor I have 3 zones, pavers in the middle for walking, rock on weed barrier on the right for potted plants, and a compost mix 3 ft wide along the south wall for planting in ground. We actually built the greenhouse in Feb thanks to a mild winter and I was able to use it for starting seedlings. I also planted carrots and lettuce in ground and had a nice crop early."

"The best retirement present ever! I live in Downeast Maine and bought my Riga greenhouse 10 years ago. It provides vegetables and herbs from March through November. When some panels showed deterioration last year, I called Exaco and found that they were originally installed with the UV coating on the wrong side. Exaco sent me replacement panels just for the cost of shipping and said that the Riga now comes with UV coating on both sides. I think that is customer service "above and beyond!"

"Sturdy, well-made, everything I expected and more. I been enjoying my greenhouse for five years now. Right about now (November) the seed catalogs arrive, a favorite time of the year. Come January-February I'll begin my seed germinating in the greenhouse. A small oil-filled electric heater keeps the temps above freezing. Sometimes I overwinter hot pepper plants inside, too."

"Perfect greenhouse. I love this thing! Gets use all year and is excellent quality and value."

"I bought several months ago. I was extremely happy with the delivery (note: will only deliver to your driveway)... everything intact, no missing parts. EVERTHING FITS TOGETHER PERFECTLY! The assembly instructions are picture based and mostly understandable, some take a little longer to decipher than others. Some engineering or construction experience is helpful -- I wouldn't recommend for a total novice. The on-line videos can also be helpful. You will need to have a level foundation for the frame, but note that your corners will need to be anchored into the foundation. The glass panels are a bit awkward to handle... you'll need 2 persons to install the roof panels. I am using my 12' x 19' green house as a spa room with plants, water fountain, bistro table, music, and hot tub and lovin' it."
"Very pleased with our Riga V. Our Riga V is mounted on a stem wall. We grow vegetables year round in Northern New Mexico at 7800 ft. Retrofitted the doors for summer with screens to maintain temperatures. So great to have fresh tomatoes in the winter!"

"Great greenhouse for amateur enthusiast. I bought this close to 3 years ago and love it. It was fun to put together and I have since added electricity so I can run fans, heat (only a little on coldest nights), and grow light. I use it to winter over plants as well as grow seedlings. I'm in it almost every day."

"Riga is a real winner at 3500 feet in Canada. We bought a Riga 4 in the late fall of 2014. By the time it arrived the ground was frozen and snow covered so my husband and some neighbors assembled it in our garage. When the snow left early this year we got a bunch of friends to help move it to a pad in the garden and by March 4th I had planted lots of cold loving plants directly in the ground.
Between the ground-planted crops and indoor-started plants being hardened off, the greenhouse has been continuously busy and productive ever since. COMPLETELY WITHOUT SUPPLEMENTAL HEAT, by mid-April we began harvesting loads of spinach, lettuce, green onions, radishes and bok choy until we began replacing these early veggies with heat lovers like tomatoes, peppers and muskmelon. There were a few nights early on where we had a borderline frost but no damage on the cool climate plants and now (June 7th) the trick will be to prevent overheating.
I have had home made greenhouses before but NOTHING has matched the Riga performance. I am already harvesting peppers. This is all happening on a north-east facing slope at 3500 feet elevation in the Canadian Rockies. Amazing!"

"I LOVE this greenhouse. I bought this greenhouse in 2009 from Exaco and have had wonderful success with it. I am growing vegetables, herbs and flowers. It is SO well built and holds up in the big winds and snow that I get at 6,000 feet in the Southern California mountains. I also love the ventilation in the greenhouse as we can get 80-90 degree temperatures in the summer. During the summer I leave the top of the dutch door open along with the window on the opposite side of the greenhouse. This, together with the automatic windows on the top of the greenhouse, allows me to grow in the heat of summer. I also love the shelving on one side of the greenhouse with the panels that I can take out depending on how tall the plants under the shelf grow. I highly recommend this greenhouse."

"Structural Integrity. We purchased a Riga 8 and are pleased with the quality and strength of the product. Assembly was well documented. Customer service was exceptional. Exaco is a first class operation. The Riga system is perfect for our windy location."

"We purchased our greenhouse nine years ago and have been extremely happy with it ever since. The instructional DVD was invaluable in the construction of the greenhouse."

"Loved my first Riga so much I bought another! I bought my first Riga III Greenhouse in January of 2014. This is a sturdy little greenhouse! Lots of great features for the price. I did lots of "shopping around" before I purchased a greenhouse and just kept coming back to the Riga. By the end of my first "growing season" I sadly realized I had not bought a big enough one. I was determined to have something larger for 2015 so I started shopping around again. I just kept coming back to wanting another Riga. I was sold on its features and how sturdy it was.
I knew it would survive our extreme Nebraska weather - wind, hail, rain, wind, snow, ice, heat, wind, cold....and did I say wind? Yep, my Riga endured and stood up to all that weather its first year. So.....in February of 2015 I purchased another Riga III greenhouse. I bought one identical to my first one and butted the two together to make one greenhouse! I now have all the room I need! And my plan to put the two together worked out perfectly! We mounted the door on the second greenhouse so it swings IN instead of out. I can close off the second greenhouse if I don't have plants in it or don't want to heat it.
I now have two automatic roof vents, a window on one end and the divided door on the other end - just like it was when they were single greenhouses. The greenhouses butted together with only about a half inch space between them. We cut silver flashing and screwed it on to the outside of the greenhouses thus "connecting" them and sealing out any air. We also added clear calk to help seal and adhere the flashing to the greenhouses. There is absolutely NO air that seeps into the greenhouses through this small space. My greenhouses are mounted on 4X4 treated timbers. I have dirt floors which I have covered in ground soybean mulch which helps keep heat in and also absorbs water. They are firmly mounted to the ground with those tie downs that screw in to the ground.
This greenhouse is secure! Might not withstand a Nebraska tornado, but it has stood strong through some 40-50 MPH winds. I am SO happy with my Riga greenhouse! I would recommend a Riga to anyone who is looking to buy a greenhouse. They are sturdy. I have no problem with keeping my Riga heated in the winter and cool in the spring/summer. And, like I said before, we have some pretty extreme weather here in Nebraska. You will not believe how quickly stuff germinates in this greenhouse. The conditions are perfect. My only advice would be to MAKE SURE you buy a big enough one the FIRST TIME! And....when it comes to assembly...the video that comes with the greenhouse is your best friend. Watch it at least once before you even attempt assembly. We took a laptop to our assembly site and watched the video step by step as we put it together. This being said it really wasn't that hard to put together and ours went up fairly fast. I just can't say enough how much I love my Riga greenhouse!"

"Great greenhouse, great service! I asked a million questions to Andrew. I really researched this product. They answered all my questions and installed the Riga XL. I couldn't be happier with both the service and product. It's very rare you get this quality experience. The help I got in setting up the foundation to the greenhouse setup was amazing. Our greenhouse is even better than we imagined. We even purchased additional heaters and composting bins!"
"A joy to work in! I am the horticulturist and garden manager for a large private estate located in Southern California. I grow organic vegetables for the estate and a nearby restaurant. Prior to acquiring the Riga III, I purchased my organic vegetable starts from a local grower. I was limited to the varieties that they chose to grow and had to deal with a lower level of quality than I wanted. After doing a LOT of online research, I decided that the Riga was the greenhouse that I wanted. I felt that the price was more than reasonable for all of the features offered. The ordering process and subsequent delivery was problem free. While the installation was somewhat challenging - with the aid of the video and the written instructions it was assembled by a team of three capable men in just over a day. Our greenhouse sits on a poured concrete pad that we installed with a drain and an irrigation quick coupler. This makes it easy to water and to keep the greenhouse clean inside. The Riga III is very roomy and I am able to have 32 flats of seedlings growing at the same time. The quality of my vegetable starts is amazing now! Seeds germinate in just a couple of days. The diffused light allows is perfect. I directly attribute the improved quality of the vegetables I am producing to the Riga III. I don't have to deal with snow here in Southern California- but as my greenhouse is sited on top of a hill in full sun- I do deal with high summer temperatures and occasional high winds up to 60 mph. The Riga is the only greenhouse I found that has a back wall window. The cross ventilation that I get by keeping the top of the dutch door open and the back window open really helps with keeping my summer temps low which helps to keep both my vegetables and ME comfortable as I like to work in the greenhouse in the afternoons. The Riga has withstood the winds like a champ! Of course, I didn't have to use my own money to pay for the greenhouse. My employer did that. But, I am so in love with this greenhouse that I am getting ready to buy one myself for my own backyard! I highly recommend this greenhouse to anyone who wants a beautiful, functional, strong, easy maintenance, high quality greenhouse in which to grow beautiful plants of any type!"

"Just starting with our Riga Greenhouse..What a joy. Our Greenhouse is on its way...Just spoke with Kim who was a wealth of information and interested in what we will be doing with our greenhouse here in Falmouth, MA.
As part of a community non-profit, Falmouth Together We Can Inc., we started a group called Well-Grounded; it is a Service Learning group that is made up of three teachers, English, science and woodshop; one community partner, an artist, about 15 students ranging in age fro 12 to 18 and the numerous business partners we have made over the past year. We provide spring and fall clean-ups to the Senior Center in town, churches in the community, plant the annual flowers for Veterans Day, shovel snow for our seniors, design and maintain our school Memorial Garden, and study, grow and sell organic, GMO free seedlings...thus the greenhouse. Our community has been incredibley supportive. We have one native partner who donated the funds for this greenhouse and another anonymous donor who gave 10k dollars to support our students. So proud of the students, and the fun I have is beyond words! Thank you Kim for making this adventure even more incredible! Stay tuned for pictures of set-up and completion.
"Riga 4 thrives in harsh New England weather. I've had this Riga 4 greenhouse for 5 years. On Cape Cod, we have very beautiful summers and falls but winters can be brutal. We are a little sand spit sticking out into the North Atlantic. For example, this past winter we had over 100" of snow and hurricane force winds for many days at a time. The Riga greenhouse never has failed in 5 winters like this. It is absolutely built to withstand hurricanes. We use the greenhouse for seedling starts in the spring (starting around March 1) and then season extension in the fall from about October through January. We grow lettuce, spinach and micro greens in the fall and early winter. To regulate the warmth, we fill 3 large black plastic livestock watering troughs with water. They fit under the shelves on the north side of the greenhouse. The sun heats them up during the day and they give off their heat at night. This past winter they never froze inspire of many days of sub zero weather and cloud filled days. I am very happy with my Riga 4."
"I have had this greenhouse for a few months and I am so happy I finally get to leave a review! This greenhouse is seriously amazing. I never regret buying it, it is totally worth it. I would 100 percent recommend it to anyone thinking about getting one. I wish I could share pictures because it looks even better in real life but I have no idea where to attach them."

"This greenhouse is amazing! The frame feels solid, and the glass panels let in just the right amount of light. Assembly took some time but was straightforward once we got going. It looks beautiful in the yard, and my tomatoes and herbs are thriving. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made for my garden."
"So impressed with this greenhouse! Assembly was straightforward, and the sloped roof adds both style and function. It stays warm and bright inside, creating the ideal growing environment. A fantastic investment for serious gardening."
"My friend has an Exaco greenhouse and it always looked great in his garden. I have always wanted to get a greenhouse for my wife since she loves gardening, so I decided to order this one. From the moment it arrived, I knew it was worth it. Assembly took a little time but everything fit perfectly and the instructions were clear. My wife absolutely loves it and spends hours tending to her plants. I have never regretted this purchase and it has definitely added something special to our backyard."
"Great piece of engineering… absolutely first rate…"
The Victorian added functional beauty to our open area protected and partially shaded by cedar trees. The size is perfect for over-wintering our tropical and succulent plants, while allowing room for container-grown vegetables. In the spring, seed starters and perennial cuttings take center stage.

“Truly fabulous… functional yet beautiful… exceeded expectations.”
“Changed the way we garden… structure is strong… couldn’t be happier."
“Royal Victorian is a dream come true… very happy…”
“We love our… greenhouse… Claudia has been awesome…”
“Great kit… looks beautiful and is well made.”
“A greenhouse is not just a purchase, it is a lifestyle… zero regrets…”
“Everything fit together flawlessly… beautiful space…”
"Our primary goal in choosing a greenhouse was to be able to garden year-round & to have a place to relax outdoors in beautiful North Carolina. We spent alot of time reviewing various greenhouse brands and styles and finally settled on this one. It is truly fabulous to be able to enjoy the four seasons without being in the elements (rain) and having insects (mosquitos) constantly disturbing you. This greenhouse is both functional yet beautiful. It truly has met & exceeded all of our expectations."

The Hexagonal raised bed is easy to assemble and perfect for my backyard garden!
The Aerobin 400 is the best composter on the market. We bought 2 for our garden. Easy to assemble too and looks great! 100% satisfied and we highly recommend.
This is another beautiful room to take advantage of. This gave us a little place to look out over the firepit and the river, and a space to enjoy ourselves, as well.

We had a blizzard of epic proportions - over 24 inches here in Custer - probably around 36" but my Riga greenhouse did just fine!!!!! I picked tomatoes and lima beans just two days after the storm. I had to dig out to get into the greenhouse, or I probably could have eaten red tomatoes during the blizzard.-
We are known for our wind, here. The wind will “blow the sun away,” here. We’re at the very base of the Sierra, and the winds come over the mountain and can be quite ferocious. Our Riga S has survived 100-mile-an-hour winds here and has gone through numerous windstorms without a problem. It’s also survived heavy snows here; the snow slides off the roof. It has gone through anything nature could throw at it so far. Your product is truly a step above the rest. - Rick
Just a short note to let you know our Riga greenhouse has been wonderful.
What’s so great about owning an Exaco greenhouse? Why not ask our customers directly! From Seattle to Central Texas, we’ve interviewed greenhouse owners who have built the backyard of their dreams.
"So very happy with our Royal Victorian greenhouse. A great storage for all our garden tools It is also an outdoor living room. Coffee and listening to the early birds in the morning is a wonderful start to our day. It is a library for many of Patti's gardening books and is the focal point of the garden and a highlight of our many garden tours."

"I built my greenhouse about 4 years ago and I love it. I live in Northern California and I look forward to getting a head start on my veggie garden. I installed paver's as the flooring and a water faucet inside for easy watering. The ventilation windows on the roof work great as does the louvered side window. I have no complaints.

"Excellent! This was a replacement for a far inferior product. It's stronger, far easier to assemble and erect, and performs so much better!"

"Wonderful and durable. We use the Greenhouse as an art studio and place to dine. I poured a concrete folly piped in electricity and plumbing and we love it. I can see it would be a great greenhouse, but we love the use for personal space and quiet evenings. We are in Los Angeles, California so weather is not an issue. A colder climate may not work for our usage. Very easy to assemble and durable. No problems with it over the last 4 years."

I purchased this greenhouse last year. It is solid and very attractive addition to yard. I purchased with the polycarbonate panels. These panels did not allow for the louver side window but they did give me an extra roof window. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow. Read the instructions ahead to ensure a step isn't missed.

"So very happy with my greenhouse. I have been wanting a greenhouse for a very long time and finally bought this in 2020. The quality of an Exaco Greenhouse is exceptional and their service is beyond reproach. While this is through Home Depot, Exaco (in Texas) is the company you will deal with for delivery to your home and any other questions or issues you may have. Installation took us about 2 days (2-3 people working on it). It looks wonderful in the garden and helps you extend your grow season."

"Couldn't be happier. Purchased greenhouse in 2021 and couldn't be happier. Waited 30 years to put my cacti and succulents in a greenhouse, and the Royal Victorian is a dream come true. Very happy with the quality and sturdiness of the structure. Incorporating temperature controlled louvre windows, roof vents, and exhaust fan has really helped manage temperatures in the Texas weather. The team at Exaco was fantastic to work with as we did our initial sizing and planning. The Royal Victorian helped us transform our backyard into a beautiful, peaceful space with great energy. We couldn't be happier."

I love my little greenhouse!!! It's almost Dec. and I'm growing lettuces and micro greens. Love my little glass house!!

"Great greenhouse for my clients to care for and show-off their orchid collection! The team's assistance in determining which features (such as fans, louvers, shelving, etc.) were most suitable for different environments provided me and my team with peace of mind throughout the process. Building an in-house greenhouse for the first time was nerve-wracking, but the process was straightforward, and we were able to assemble a durable and high-quality product with confidence. Thank you!"

"One of our best investments. Victorian VI46 greenhouse has changed the way we garden and extended our season. We saved so many years plants this winter by moving into the greenhouse. Saved us thousands of dollars. Last freeze we moved plants to our flatbed trailer, covered with a tarp and had 2 plug in heaters. We lost power and we'll you can guess the rest. We have been able to cool this greenhouse down with the exhaust fan and louvered and ceiling windows. The shelving is super sturdy and I have heavy pots/plants. The structure is strong and sturdy and the French door works perfectly. The Double doors we are still tweaking but almost there. The screens for the windows fit perfect. We bought extra shelving just in case and plan to purchase the new roller shade cloth for this summer. The only regret we have is that we didn't get one sooner; I know it sounds corny but my husband and I have enjoyed it more than we ever thought. We had several dinners out there in the spring and spent hours enjoying the birds and sunsets. We can't say enough about Diana and the install team support. Overnighted any part we needed during the construction and walked us through any trouble we had no matter how minor. We installed it ourselves so we called in quite a few times. Exaco makes an excellent product and we couldn't be happier with our decision.
"My wife loves this greenhouse! We purchased a VI 36 Royal Victorian Greenhouse from Exaco and assembled it, adding a 30" brick retaining wall for the foundation. The results were beautiful and functional. For aesthetics and visual effects, we went with glass instead of polycarbonate. We also went with three small heaters on automatic thermostats, the main fan, and a couple of portable fans. Fantastic—I'm thrilled that we decided to buy one. We'll do this again for the next house."

Easy assembly. Purchased mine about 3 years ago and assembly was not complicated and assembly took just over one day working alone. Highly recommend the tampered glass it has survived two hailstorms without any damage. The automatic openers work as advertised. Regrets: Should have added one more section, but very happy.
The shipping packaging was sufficient; there were a lot of parts as one could imagine. With the help of my handyman, we were able to get it up and running in about 4 hrs. The overall quality is great, very pleased with this greenhouse, exactly what I needed.
"Tropical greenhouse. Upstate NY has long hard winters, but this Christmas (2016) it hit 96 degrees in my greenhouse and the tropical plants are loving it. The shape seems to shed the snow really well and it has enough height for most plants. I used 1/2 inch pipe insulation over the aluminum arches to minimize the condensation, I keep the humidity high for the plants. A gas furnace keeps it warm (65 degrees F) and a 1 KW grow light helps with the dark snowy days. If we're not out there I leave a portable heater's pilot light on to keep the carbon dioxide levels from dropping too low, there is only about 1 air exchange per hour (it seals well) and the plants need a little more carbon dioxide of optimal growth. The optional aluminum foundation worked well, and the floor is decorative stones in a plastic grid material that makes the stones very stable to walk on.
The kits directions were good but don't under estimate the other work like leveling the site and bringing in gas, water, and electric. Exaco was very good about taking care of some minor parts issues with this complex kit. It is now a tropical paradise with bananas, papayas, plumeria, coffee, tea, avocado, cinnamon, orange, lime, guava, figs, Hawaiian tree fern and lots of orchids. We're very happy with it and everyone says it looks good."

"We live on the eastern side of the Sierras where the wind "blows the sun away." The winds come over the mountain and can be quite ferocious, on a regular basis, every year, and we have seen heavy, heavy snow. Our Riga has survived 100-mile-an-hour winds here and has gone through numerous windstorms without a problem until we had a 120-some mile an hour storm in January. Then the wind caught the door and broke the hinges. Now that I have the metal hinges for the door it should be fine. It has also nicely survived heavy snows here; the snow slides off the roof. When we were looking online to find a greenhouse that would survive our climate, we ran across your website showing your husband standing straddling the peak, and we knew we had found what we were looking for. I can't remember what year we bought it, somewhere around 2007, and it has gone through everything nature could throw at it so far. I have put up garden-style lattice-work on steel poles on the windward side to help shield it somewhat from the wind, which has helped somewhat too. Your product is truly a step above the rest. Other greenhouses in this area have not fared as well. I have even tried to steer people who were in the market to buy greenhouses to the Riga. Again, thank you for your excellent product."
"Riga Rocks even in Duluth, MN. We have had our Riga greenhouse thru a couple Northern Minnesota winters now. It has stood through bitter cold and blowing winds (that took down many trees!). Greens that finally freeze in late-December miraculously revive in mid-February for fresh spinach, kale, even romaine lettuce. In summer, we do tomatoes, cukes, peppers, all the things that being perched next to Lake Superior has made so difficult in the past. This is a very well-designed greenhouse; we assembled it with just two people. I recommend getting a third person to help. The assembly instruktions (poorly translated from German), are a bit of a challenge. But it does all go together, and stays together, for great growing.

"Great product and best support I've ever seen. I looked for a large greenhouse for a year. My wife and I choose the Riga XL because of the size and style. Best of all, we are super happy with the quality of the greenhouse and the support we got from Andrew and his team. I'm 63 and my wife is a little younger. We were able to put it together by ourselves with the great advice we got from Andrew. It took time, and at times was a little frustrating, but it was well worth it. When we ran into problems, Andrew solved the problems quickly and without question about whose fault it was. If I were to buy another greenhouse, The Riga and Andrew would be my first and only choice."
“Greetings from Humboldt County, California. Loving our new greenhouse! It is holding up to the storms well. 40 knot winds last night”
"Great for Michigan weather! So far we're using our greenhouse as a chicken coop. Chickens love it, natural light but plenty of space to dig and scratch. Funner than a small dark coop b/c we can walk inside the chicken coop and enjoy being with the chickens without being crowded.
We use an electric dog water bowl and the chicken feeder hangs from the ceiling frame. A 2x4 spans the rear of the coop for roosting. In the spring all doors and vents need to be open else it gets too hot. We had custom cut aluminum panels to change the front door from solid panels to something more like a fence (chickens need fresh cool air). Also, we hung chicken wire over the back window so that can be open in the summer. Through the winter we just let the deep bedding straw and compost mixture build up and mix it with our boots every so often..... easy, no coop to clean. When we sold our house, 3 adults lifted the greenhouse, put it on a trailer and towed it to our new location (~25mph). Great product, great for chickens in the winter! Assembly took 1.5 days by myself, would be a lot faster with 2 people. Soon we hope to use it as a real greenhouse."

"Outstanding product. The purchase of our Riga was one of the best buying decisions my wife and I have ever made. It is a top quality and value product. My wife wants to divorce me and marry the Riga.
The service and support we received from the folks at Exaco was in a word "Outstanding". We purchased our Riga XL in 2011. To avoid potential issues be sure to follow assembly instructions carefully."
"I have had the Royal Victorian Antique Orangerie since Sep 2012. Winter has become my favorite gardening season, in Michigan! I cannot describe the joy of listening to my music, surrounded by flowers from four corners of the world - colors, textures, fragrances, and beauties - which otherwise, I could have missed for good. The greenhouse is gorgeous, even empty! Welcome to see it, in SE MI, USA. My contact info is available from Exaco. Masoud G.
