Meet Kim and Andrew

Kim and Andrew Cook, the founders of Exaco, bring a wealth of expertise and passion to the gardening industry.

Andrew, a Rotterdam native, studied agricultural economics and graduated from the Royal Agricultural University in England, Texas A&M University, and Cornell University. Andrew has drawn on his European roots and business connections to bring innovative products to the American market. His commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable gardening practices has been a driving force behind Exaco’s business.

Kim, who wrote on business issues during her two decades with the Austin American-Statesman, has played an important role behind the scenes at Exaco. Over the years, she has overseen local outreach efforts, coordinated public and private partnerships, and contributed to the day-to-day operations of the business.
