Protected Foundation

The Octagonal greenhouse features a unique aluminum foundation profile that elevates the wooden framing by an inch above ground level, offering excellent protection against water damage. Sturdy aluminum gussets at every framing joint further enhance the structure's strength and longevity. The premium Grade 1 Western Cedar construction guarantees top-tier quality with knot-free wood, treated to resist water absorption and aging while preserving its natural color.

Plenty of Ventilation - Easy Access Double Doors

The greenhouse is designed for convenience and durability, featuring pre-assembled doors and windows. This model features a double, lockable, hinged door with ground level threshold for easy entrance. The 3 mm tempered glass and a steep roof angle allow snow to slide off effortlessly, reducing the risk of buildup and potential structural damage. Standard features include automatic roof vents with temperature-controlled openers and large-pane louvre windows with manual openers, ensuring optimal ventilation.

Upgraded Gutters and Staging Shelving

Alton has made several improvements to their Octagonal models optional staging shelving, replacing the old timber models with sleek aluminum, powder-coated in mellow Moss Green for a contemporary look. The new standard aluminum guttering in the same color has replaced the old PVC, adding to the modern aesthetic. Additionally, the Octagonal models now come with an integral, powder-coated metal base plinth.
